Police launch search for missing Wedela matric learner

Police in Wedela are appealing to the public for help in locating 17-year-old Samkelo Pitso, a matric learner at Wedela Technical High School, who was last seen on Friday, 13 February.

The police in Wedela are looking for a matric learner that went missing last week.

According to Sergeant Zikhona Sifuba they are looking for Samkelo Pitso (17), a matriculant of Wedela Technical High School.

Samkelo was last ween on Friday February 13 at approximately 14:30.

“It is alleged that he was with his mother at home and they had just had a little quarrel but they sorted it out. They then had lunch, after which he sneaked out while his mother was busy on her phone. His mother thought he would come back but he never returned. She came to the police station the following day to report the matter,” says Sifuba.

Samkelo was last seen wearing a black tracksuit, blue leather jacket and white All Star sneakers.
Anyone who sees him must please call Sergeant Noni Sontyali of the Wedela Detectives or the detective commander at 082 373 8339.
