Decomposed body of missing East Driefontein man found tied up in veld

Community members make shocking discovery near Mpahla Village weeks after man was reported missing

Community members made a gruesome discovery in the East Driefontein area this week.

The wife of Vuyulethu Nqambane (45) last saw him on February 28 this year.

When she returned from a trip to the Eastern Cape on March 9, she could not find him anywhere and opened a missing person’s case with the police in Fochville.

On April 12, community members discovered a decomposed body in the veld next to the mountain near Mpahla Village.

The deceased had his hands tied behind his back with a rope.

A family member identified the deceased as the missing man.

The police in Fochville are now investigating a murder case.
