Armed house robbery in Begonia Street, Carletonville

The resident escaped unharmed.

An armed house robbery took place in Begonia Street, Carletonville, in the early hours of Friday, 9 August 2024. At approximately 03:30, a man sleeping in a backyard room was awoken when two armed suspects forced their way inside.

The intruders, both carrying firearms, stole two cellphones, a bush cutter, and a jumping castle blower before escaping the scene.

Fortunately, the victim was not injured during the incident. Carletonville Police have opened a case of house robbery and are urging community members with any information to contact them immediately.
