Temporary water interruption planned for Carletonville tonight

The Merafong City Local Municipality has warned residents of Carletonville about a temporary water interruption tonight, March 10, as Rand Water replaces a defective magnetic flow meter on the bulk supply system.

The Merafong City Local Municipality warns that there will be a temporary water interruption tonight, March 10.

The interruption will affect the whole of Carletonville is part of essential maintenance work to build water supply infrastructure.

The maintenance will be done by Rand Water and entails the replacement of a refective magnetic flow meter on the bulk supply system.

The work is expected to start at 18:00 tonight and will continue until 02:00 tomorrow morning.

The work might cause taps to run dry, or just lead to low water pressure in some areas.
