Fochville residents are encouraged to get active for a good cause this weekend at the second annual Pot Gat Fun Run.
The event is a joint effort between the community group Our Town Fochville and the Fanatics Racing Club (FRC). Together, they are raising much-needed funds to fix the town’s pothole-ridden streets.
Organisers want to build on the momentum of last year’s event, which saw a brilliant turnout from the local community. This year, they are aiming for an even bigger crowd to help smooth the way for Fochville’s drivers.
The fun run takes place on March 28 and will start at Hennie’s in Losberg Avenue at 07:00. Distances include 10km, 5km, 2.5km, and 700m-dash. Participants can also bring their four-legged friends on a leash. Those who need more information can contact Salomie on 079 413 3489.
