Armed robbers target Khutsong Ext 5 home

A woman was held at gunpoint by two masked intruders who forced their way into her home before fleeing with cash, laptops, clothing and a cellphone.

A female resident of Khutsong Ext 5 became the victim of house robbers this week.

This crime took place on July 4.

A woman (36) was asleep in her house in the 70s when she was woken up by the sound of something breaking at approximately 04:00.

She got up to check what was going on, but walked into two men breaking into her safety door.

The thugs were masked, and one had a rifle and the other a handgun.

They immediately pointed their firearms at her and demanded money.

Although the woman, at first, denied having anything valuable, the thugs threatened that they would shoot her.

She was forced to hand over money from her church and from her hairdressing salon that she had with her.

The thugs also took her phone, two laptops, and clothing, including clothes belonging to her children.

Luckily, her children did not wake up during the ordeal, and no one was injured.
