A small shop in Blyvooruitzicht became a crime scene this week.

The owner of the Corner Shop Tuck Shop on 39th Avenue was working inside his business on April 12.

Three thugs arrived at approximately 19:30. Two were masked, while one wielded a firearm and another a knife.

The criminals demanded money and cellphones and grabbed these items as well as cigarettes.

While on their way out, the robber with the knife stabbed the shop owner in his right upper arm.
They then ran away.
