Kefilwe Lekabe from Khutsong is continually waving the flag of Merafong in other areas
through her passion for education.

She is the founder Kefilwe Tsela Academy which is an accredited South African business and entrepreneurship academy working with learn by doing practical programmes, live coaching, and implementation support for founders, SMEs and teams.

The institution has officially launched its Accredited NQF level 4 skills programme: Work Essentials, to
prepare 30 young learners for the world of work.

The academy is excited to see their growth as they embark on their learning journey to being employable or starting their own businesses. Their workplace Essentials Programme has officially kicked off and they are excited as the academy is helping their learners build the skills, confidence and workplace readiness which they need to move from looking for an opportunity to being ready for the opportunity because getting into the workplace is one thing but knowing how to thrive once they are there is the real game.

The institution focuses on learning, growth, confidence and new possibilities and the effort to reduce
unemployment and improve active economic participation of young people.
