A cosmetics company employee driving along the R500 towards Ventersdorp was hijacked this week by armed criminals.
The incident occurred on October 16 at about 08:45 near Red Cap Ranch when a white Nissan double-cab bakkie overtook his white Toyota Quantum and slammed on its brakes, while a silver VW Polo trapped him from behind.
Four armed men jumped out, pointed firearms at the driver, pulled him from his vehicle, and forced him into one of their cars before driving away.
The victim was later released safely near Blybank.
