Subaru extends its maintenance plan

Selected new models from Subaru Southern Africa will qualify for the recently launched five-year/120 000km comprehensive maintenance plan.

As standard, all Subaru models are offered with a three-year/75 000km maintenance plan and for a limited time only, customers will be able to take advantage of the new extended plan when purchasing a new vehicle which qualifies. The maintenance plan includes routine servicing as well as maintenance and mechanical repairs due to wear and tear. Additionally, customers gain access to the Subaru Assist roadside service which includes emergency and map assistance too.

For the limited time only, the maintenance plan will be offered at no additional cost to the standard plan and completely forms part of the vehicle’s retail price. “Maintenance plans afford our customers additional peace of mind and confidence in owning a new Subaru. We’re constantly assessing how we can further our customer’s Confidence in Motion and this is yet another way we can do that.” Nteo Nkoli, Marketing Lead, Subaru SA.

“It also offers better value for money especially during the economically challenging conditions facing South Africa right now,” added Nkoli. As standard, all new Subaru models come with a five-year/150 000km warranty which covers any defect in material or workmanship. “We are aware of a lot of customers who make the mistake of thinking that Maintenance Plans are the same as Service Plans. These are very different programmes and certainly, our Maintenance Plan is far more comprehensive and safer for the consumer,” concluded Nkoli.
