Man stabbed in Carletonville CBD

The Carletonville police are investigating a murder case after a man was brutally stabbed in the Carletonville CBD last week.

The SAPS was called to Emerald Street at approximately 23:15 on Saturday. Upon their arrival, they found the body of a man lying on the sidewalk in front of Marcellos. He had been stabbed and had already passed away from his injuries.
The victim was later identified as a 39-year-old employee of Sibanye-Stillwater.
At the time of the newspaper going to print, no one had yet been arrested in connection with the murder.
