Blyvooruitzicht was the scene of yet another violent crime last weekend.

A woman (23) was asleep in her home on Sunday morning. She got up and went to the bathroom at approximately 02:00. She suddenly heard footsteps outside and looked through the window.

To her horror, she saw a man trying to break open her kitchen door. The woman ran to her bedroom as the thug and two accomplices forced their way inside.

Unfortunately, the attackers caught the woman and immediately demanded valuables. They were upset when she only had R300 and a cell phone. They intimidated her, and the victim told them her neighbour might have more money.

She called the neighbour, and the thugs also stole his cell phones and cash.After robbing the neighbour, the men returned to the woman’s house, where all three raped her. Two suspects spoke Shangaan, while the third spoke Sotho.
