Vox Pop: Residents speak on how they spent their Mandela Day

What some of our readers got involved in for Mandela Day.

The CHRONICLE caught up with a few residents in the South who spoke highly about Mandela Day as well as the different activities they got involved with.

SUNGIRL MOYO: “Mandela Day is a happy day where we get to appreciate the next person and general society in South Africa and I am glad to have spent the day enjoying my time with wonderful children.”
SAMANTHA SIBANDA: “With Mandela Day comes several activities. For me it was work all day but I still got to appreciate others around me as that is what the day is all about.”
ANNA COETZEE: “Spreading love on Mandela Day is all we were about as my team and I managed to give back to children from one of the local schools in Rosettenville.”
MONICA MAPHOSA: “My Mandela Day was well spent as it is always a great thing showing love to the community and children around us and that is one thing I always appreciate about the day.”
