GALLERY: Renaissance Retirement Village in Glenvista celebrates its 30th birthday

The fête was enjoyed by all those who attended, and it was decided to make it an annual event.

RENAISSANCE Retirement Village in Glenvista celebrated its 30th birthday on Saturday, October 27, with a fête to raise funds to improve the facilities and activities at the village.

The fun walk through the village was extremely popular. The Muscadel Music Band provided entertainment as villagers, family and friends enjoyed food and drinks while relaxing in the tented area.

There were food and flea market stalls as well as a tea garden, and after a successful day enjoyed by all those who attended, it was decided to make the fête an annual event.

HAVING A BREAK: Enjoying lunch and drinks in the tented area.
WORS ROLLS: What’s a fête without a wors roll?
CROCHETED ITEMS: Some lovely things for sale.
FUN WALK: Walkers of all ages enjoyed a stroll through the village.
FUN TIME: Children were kept entertained on the jumping castle.
