ANOTHER opportunity for businesses around the South to meet and network was held at another SOJO (South of Joburg Business and Tourism) Business Network Breakfast meeting on March 29 at Life Grand Café, Mall of the South.

The morning’s speaker was Linda Dent, professional business coach and chairperson of the Johannesburg South Rotary Club.

Linda talked about the Value Builder system through an interesting presentation. She discussed various details about Value Builder, including how it can determine the value and potential of your business and how it can help you make the best of your business by assessing and improving the following eight aspects: financial performance, customer satisfaction, business growth potential, the “Switzerland Structure”, the “Valuation See-Saw”, hierarchy of recurring revenue, monopoly control and the “hub and spoke”.

“Overall, businesses improve their value by 18 per cent over eight months after utilising the Value Builder system,” said Linda. “It’s important to spend time on your business and not just in your business – you can do this by engaging with Value Builder and see your business improve in no time.”

After answering a few follow-up questions from curious attendees, a lucky raffle was drawn where three people won prizes including a voucher, a mini-braai and a boot organiser.
