The CHRONICLE spoke to readers about the accidents on Boundary Road after recent accidents and asked them for their point of view.

SHIRLEY DE KLERK: “Something has to be done soon, we’ve seen three accidents in two weeks with one woman losing her life. Motorists need to slow down before someone else loses their life.”
NOMSA MKHABELA: “A woman has already lost her life on this road and two more have been knocked over in the last two weeks. Does someone else have to die before something is done?”
GINA MEZZOPERA: “There have been lots of accidents along this road. The speed limit is 60km/h but most drivers go way over that limit. I don’t know what needs to be done but the traffic has to be slowed down.”
JUDITH MAMAPHURI: “We need traffic lights to slow drivers down. When I try and cross this road it is terrible and I have to run across so I don’t get hit. Maybe a big sign, with Slow Down, might help.”
