GALLERY: Giving back with the help of SPAR
Learners making a difference in their community.
A FEW weeks ago Waterstone College learners Ameerah Padayachee and her classmate, Boitumelo Mogogane, were given a school assignment where they had to give back to the homeless within their community.
In seeking sponsorship for goods they wrote a letter to their local SPAR in Mulbarton and went to see the manager, Peet van der Berg.
SPAR did not hesitate and immediately donated bread, spreads and water for the girls to include in their donation to the homeless.
Ameerah and Boitumelo would like to acknowledge the contribution made by SPAR in being able to make a difference within their community.
