GALLERY: Our Lady of Lebanon first holy communion and confirmation
A heartfelt homily was delivered in celebration of these special occasions.
ON October 27, 64 children received their first holy communion from parish priest Fr Jean Yammine. During the celebration of the first holy communion Mass, he delivered a heartfelt homily with words of encouragement to the children making their first holy communion.
A special confirmation Mass was held at midday on November 16. Celebrating mass was Auxillary Bishop the Right Reverend Duncan Tsoke, concelebrating with him were Fr Maurice Chidiac, vsuperior of the Maronite Church of Southern Africa, Fr Jean Yammine, parish priest and Fr George Arouk. Of the 62 people who were confirmed, 24 were adults. Bishop Duncan delivered a heartfelt homily to the newly confirmed.
