GALLERY: Show Day for Women’s Institute

“The judge, Anne Nichols, was overwhelmed by the quality of the work entered.”

EIKENHOF Women’s Institute members recently enjoyed the annual Show Day, and three of its members earned top three places for their talent and handiwork.

Jean Ross was awarded first place (257 points), Helen Thompson second place (241 points) and Marjorie Lattimer (239 points).

“The judge, Anne Nichols, was overwhelmed by the quality of the work entered,” said president of the group Joy Boswell.

The morning was enjoyed by all and everyone had a chance to look at the entries after tea.

Members will be enjoying a Christmas breakfast at Del Forno Glenanda before they enjoy a break for the festive season. If you would like to join this group of women in the new year, contact Joy on 084 526 5857.
