CITY Power has issued an apology to residents affected by the power failure caused when an equipment failure resulted in a fire at a substation in Ridge on Monday, January 11, at 10:00.
The failure affected some of the busiest areas including Parktown, Parkview, Forest Town, Braamfontein, Linksfield, Bellevue, Observatory, Hillbrow and Berea.
City Power apologises for the inconvenience caused before the power to the affected areas was restored.
