TWO Hartford College pupils, Kajol Maharaj and Rego Pheloane from Grade Six were awarded provincial colours for their achievements at the CMATHS National Championships held in Sandton City on August 19.
As a result of their great achievements, they have been chosen to represent South Africa in the internationals on December 28. CMATHS classes are run at Hartford College as an extra mural on a Tuesday afternoon and Saturday mornings. CMATHS is an acronym for Calculating Mental Arithmetic Tuition with the Help of Japanese Soroban. CMATHS aims at creating a love for Maths.
