Dressing of the Holy Cross

It is an annual, solemn event commemorated by the primary school children at the start of Holy Week.

MARIST Brothers Linmeyer hosted a Paraliturgical ceremony of Dressing of the Holy Cross on March 26. This ceremony involves placing various symbols around the Holy Cross that are specific to Jesus Christ’s trial, suffering and crucifixion on Good Friday.

Most symbols have corresponding bible verses and explanations that are read with them. It is an annual, solemn event commemorated by the primary school children at the start of Holy Week.
