MARIST Brothers Linmeyer’s Grade Five learner Mkhokheli Maomela was recently chosen to perform at the 2018 Jozi Youth Dance Company (JYDC) production of Domaine, which translated from the French meaning realms.
The Jozi Youth Dance Company is a platform for young dancers, exposing them to professional choreographers and dancers. They gain invaluable experience, performing to sold-out audiences, as well as preparing them for the cutthroat dance industry.
Domaine showcases a diverse array of dimensions using several scenarios and esteemed choreographers such as Shannon Glover, Burnise Silvius, Cayley Hodson and Paige Sundelson.
As JYDC’s fourth season, audiences were guaranteed of the best performances as the show promises to be one of the best yet.
The school is proud of Mkhokheli as they wish him all the best in this exciting endeavour.
