A FORMER learner at Hartford College took time to revisit his former school Thursday, June 7 to say hello to his teachers and also wish Hartford College principal Mrs Nicola Forbes a happy birthday as she turns a year older today.
Deniel Pungan was among the first pupils to attend Hartford College when it opened its doors to the community in 2009. He was only in Grade R at the time but later left the school at the end of Grade Seven.
“An ex-pupil of Hartford College, Deniel Pungan, popped in to say hello and he is among the first children to have joined Hartford College when it opened in 2009 in the Grade R class with Mrs Edna Botha,” said Mrs Forbes.
“He then moved on to Grade One with Mrs Marina Smith. It’s important to note that Deniel and I share a birthday, today and what a lovely birthday surprise, to have him visit,” Forbes said.
“Deniel left Hartford College at the end of Grade Seven in 2016 and joined BESA Leadership Academy, where he is flourishing and ranked in the top five of his grade. He is doing an awesome job and the school remains proud of the success of all its former students,” she said.
