They will be facing England on Boxing Day for the first Test match on their South African tour. England will be playing a total of 10 matches against the Proteas, including four Test matches, three ODIs and three T20 matches.
The Presidents Cup will be hosted at the beautiful Royal Melbourne Golf Club, in Melbourne, Australia. The tournament starts this Thursday the 12th and finishes on the Sunday. This is the 13th edition of the tournament and the United States team is the defending champions. The Presidents Cup has only been won once by the International team in 1998. Ernie Els played against Tiger Woods in the 1998 tournament where the International team won. This year the International team is captained by South African Ernie Els and the United States team is captained by Tiger Woods. Each team has a non-playing captain and three non-playing assistant captains. Trevor Immelman is part of the non-playing assistant coaches and fellow South African Louis Oosthuizen makes up part of the eight-man team.
