Two suspects behind bars for house robbery in Mondeor

Mondeor SAPS, with the help of the community, arrested two male suspects for breaking into a house.

Police received a call from the community that there were suspects inside a house in Bellefield Drive, Mondeor.

Investigations reveal that the suspects had broken the burglar door and forcefully entered the house, threatening the victim who was forced into the main bedroom. A plasma TV and other household items were taken.
The one suspect was caught while inside the premises.

The other suspect had fled in a cream/white Cressida, which was traced to a house in Zola, Soweto, where the vehicle was spotted. A second suspect was then nabbed and was found in possession of the stolen items.

Suspects are being detained at Mondeor SAPS and will appear in the Booysens Magistrate’s Court.
