WATCH: Search for missing woman (47) underway at Rietvlei Zoo Farm

It is reported that by late Sunday afternoon there was still no trace for her.

A search is underway at Rietvlei Zoo Farm for a missing woman, Kim Croeser (47).

Kim went cycling at Rietvlei Zoo Farm on Sunday, May 16, at around 9.30am. 

“The vehicle that she was driving was found parked at Rietvlei Zoo Farm on Swartkoppies Road,” said Mondeor SAPS communications officer Captain Nokulunga Dube.

Members of the K9 Search and Rescue Unit have been searching the area since this morning to no avail.

According to Rievlei Zoo Farm employee, Senzo Nyandeni, Kim came with her bike. She rode and went back to her car where she left the bike, two phones, one was off, and the car keys. No one saw what happened after.

It is reported that by late Sunday afternoon there was still no trace for her.

A chopper is tasked to help search the area, and units continue to carry out searches and enquiries on the ground.

“We are just taking a rest as we have been searching since last night. We are waiting for a chopper to do its rounds and then we will be going back to search. Her belongings, phones, wallet and car keys were found in her car. We are still puzzled about what happened to the woman. But the search continues,” said Elowayne Gouws, operations manager at Fox Security.
