JSPCA appeals for food

JSPCA needs food parcels for its animals.

Liana Marx from JSPCA said their food storeroom is running extremely low on dog and cat food.

“As we are looking after over 200 animals daily, we are struggling to keep up and will soon have to start buying food from our suppliers. As you can imagine, the account will be extremely high.”

Any brand or flavour food, wet or dry, will be most appreciated.

“Daily, we get dogs that have not had a meal for days. They are not fussy, they are thankful for every bowl of food they get. If you can help us in any way, please drop the food off at 5 Benray Road, Reuven, or send an email to pr@jhbspca.co.za to arrange for collection.

“Our supporters have been amazing with our blanket appeal this year and we are extremely grateful for the support! Now, we are asking you again, please help if possible. A full tummy is a happy tummy,” said Marx.
