Three injured in collision

Three people were injured when two light motor vehicles collided head-on on Klipriver Road in Brackenhurst on October 26.

Paramedics from ER24 and other services arrived on the scene at 07:31 to find two light motor vehicles in the road.

“Two women and a man were seen walking around the two cars,” said ER24 communications officer Russel Meiring.

Medics assessed the patients and found that all three had sustained moderate injuries.

“Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found.”

The patients were treated and thereafter transported to a nearby hospital for further care.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
