Two suspects were jailed for two years after being found guilty for possession of suspected stolen goods.
On August 8 at 23:45, Booysens SAPS members were patrolling the Aeroton area.
They saw two suspects jumping a fence and stealing from the SAPS vehicle pound. They saw the suspects hide under a truck in the same yard, and they were subsequently arrested.
A docket was opened and given to Sgt Edmond Rangwanasha to obtain all the relevant information.
On October 26, both suspects were found guilty.
Booysens SAPS communications officer Capt Lorraine van Emmerik said management thanked Rangwanasha for obtaining the conviction.
