Nasrene trades sunny South Africa for Sweden
Nasrene was born and raised in Glenvista and example of the musical talent in the South of Johannesburg.
Local singer/songwriter Nasrene will be calling Gothenburg in Sweden her home for the next two years as she will be studying her Master’s in public health.
Carla van den Berg from David Gresham record said, “Luckily for us, Sweden has a superior reputation for pop music. They have some of the best writers and producers in the world responsible for so many of today’s hits and Nasrene is using her time there to learn, collaborate and write as much music as she can.
Nasrene said she missed her family, friends and music team back home.
“I also miss the SA spirit and sense of humour. You just don’t get anywhere else. I am so grateful for everyone’s support throughout my journey. No matter where I am, SA is always in my heart and I will constantly aim to make you proud,” said Nasrene.
