GAP College partner with Lusito Association
GAP College and the Lusito Association have joined hands to create a partnership between the Lusito School and GAP College that will see both schools continue.
Both GAP College and the Lusito School saw a decline in numbers due to the Covid-19 pandemic that saw multiple lockdowns over the last two years.
The chairperson of the Lusito Association, Sergio Aquino, said: “The Lusito Association started 45 years ago in Judith Park. The school moved to its current location in 1996 and has been growing since the start of the first lockdown in March 2020.
“We lost lots of children due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which forced the school to go into ‘hibernation’. We saw the only way forward for the school was to go into partnership with GAP College.
“Gap College has been growing constantly and we offered them the space to grow while they also run the Lusito School.”
The two schools started the partnership in January this year.

Dr Tracey Stewart from GAP College said: “Since GAP College has started we moved three times in order to help facilitate more learners. Since the start of the new school year, the children have adapted great to the new school and we have already welcomed 25 new learners.”
The Lusito School’s annual fund-raiser, Lusito Land Festival, will not return this year but might be held in the future.
The Lusito Land Festival is an important one for the schools as it will serve as a fund-raiser.
