WATCH: Protest moves through Moffat View, Tulisa Park, South Hills before dispersing in Berea

Police remove protesters demanding inspections of open shops, with streets briefly closed before the situation stabilised and normal activity resumed.

A protest that started in Moffat View moved through Tulisa Park and passed South Hills before ending in Berea on Tuesday.

Protesters were reportedly demanding that police inspect all shops that are open for undocumented foreign nationals.

Law enforcement officials responded to the situation and removed the group from the affected areas, with some streets temporarily closed during the operation.

Authorities say the situation has since stabilised, and normal activity has resumed in most areas. Many shops remained closed during the incident, and protesters have since dispersed.

No major incidents have been reported.
