Southerner wins Emperors Palace Road Classic

Southerner Taneal Otto won the 98km Elite Women’s race in 2:31:31.7 on Sunday.

Over 3 000 cyclists turned up for the Emperors Palace Road Classic on March 27, with participants able to participate in a 98km route or a shorter 48km ride.

This was the 12th edition of the race, and cyclists from in and around Johannesburg took part.

Southerner Taneal Otto won the 98km Elite Women’s race in 2:31:31.7 on Sunday.

Finishing in close second was S’annara Grove of Durban North in 2:31:31.9, with Lize-Ann Louw of Wonderboom third in 2:31:33.
