Football tournament raises much-needed funds for Salvation Foundation

Football players from across Johannesburg South went toe-to-toe in a friendly soccer tournament over the weekend in order to raise funds.

Finesse Kings were declared champions after hammering all opposing teams during a knockout-friendly soccer tournament held at Action Sports Meyersdal.

This is as Salvation Foundation hosted its charity soccer tournament on October 29 to raise funds for the organisation consisting of at least eight soccer teams.

Proceeds from the tournament will assist the entity to continue making a difference in the lives of others and maintain its sustainability.

“Our two finalists were Finesse Kings and Young Ones. Finesse Kings showcased their talent and played their hearts out. We often host fun tournaments such as this to bring in funds for the organisation to help us change lives and restore humanity,” said Ryan Ellapan of Salvation Foundation.

All teams played in good spirits for a good cause.
