Bassonia JKA’s dedicated students soared to new heights at the SA JKA National Championships held at the close of July.

With an unswerving commitment to their craft, the martial artists secured an impressive array of medals, unveiling the fruits of their hard work and preparation.

The collective effort and determination of Bassonia JKA students translated into an outstanding achievement that resonated with their instructors and fellow competitors. The dojo celebrated their victory of 38 medals – eight gold, 16 silver, and 14 bronze.

Each medal was a testament to not only the precision of their technique but the resilience they demonstrated throughout their training.

Classes at Bassonia JKA are for all ages, reinforcing the belief that martial arts is a journey that knows no age limits.

With sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the dojo opens its doors to enthusiasts and newcomers. For the youngest members, the Dinky classes (ages 4-7) provide a nurturing environment to initiate their martial arts journey.
