South Crest residents fix potholes

In their quest to keep motorists safe, South Crest residents recently patched two potholes on a busy road.

Hennie Grobler from the South Crest Residents Association (SCRA), accompanied two dedicated South Crest residents, Leopold Dussing and Dewald van der Westhuizen, to patch two large potholes on Rand Airport Road in the early hours of October 28.

The two potholes caused many blown tyres and damage to vehicles using the road.

“This particular stretch of road is dangerous because of the bad road surface, and repairing the two big potholes will make the road safe. South Crest residents reached out to repair a road outside South Crest as our residents use this horrendous road on a daily basis,” explained Deidre de Carvalho, spokesperson of the SCRA.
