Lace up your running shoes for a good cause
The need for sanitary products is an ongoing issue that affects many girls' ability to attend school, and this initiative aims to address that gap.
In an effort to support young girls in the community, WOMan (Well Organised Men) NPO will host a fun run and sports day aimed at collecting sanitary pads.
On February 1 at 06:30, residents are encouraged to lace up their running shoes, gather their friends and family and join in on a day of fitness and fun at Kibler Park Recreation Centre. Entry is a pack of sanitary pads.
This event promises something for everyone while making a meaningful impact on the lives of those who need it most.
So whether you’re joining the fun run, participating in sports activities or cheering from the sidelines, your involvement will help ensure that girls have access to the sanitary products.
