Mondeor high-density operation leads to arrests

Over 60 members and 36 vehicles deployed in major crime prevention drive.

A large-scale high-density disruptive operation led by Mondeor SAPS with the support of Fox Security and other community-based organisations resulted in the arrest of three suspects.

The coordinated effort mobilised 36 vehicles and 66 members, targeting high-risk areas within the Mondeor policing precinct.

Operation outcomes included:

• 26 vehicles stopped and searched

• 17 shacks searched

• 61 individuals searched

• Two illegal mining areas visited

According to Fox Security, the operation formed part of the sector policing strategy aimed at disrupting criminal activity, improving visibility, and creating safer communities.

Fox Security extended its appreciation to all stakeholders involved and confirmed that similar operations are scheduled in the months ahead to maintain momentum in crime prevention.
