Alberton SAPS station commander Colonel Olivein Letloenyane said an individual was arrested after being found in a hijacked vehicle.

“Investigations are ongoing,” said Letloenyane

The pursuit began when Highway Patrol spotted the hijacked vehicle, with Fox Security in close pursuit.

The suspect lost control of the vehicle, leading to a crash, and one suspect was apprehended at the scene. Authorities recovered the hijacked vehicle and seized a firearm linked to the incident.
