The music event promises to be an unforgettable experience as it will feature the Mzansi Youth Choir.
Melrose Arch will host its popular Carols on the Piazza on November 23 at 18:30.
This year’s event promises to be an unforgettable experience as it will feature the Mzansi Youth Choir, fresh from their global acclaim on America’s Got Talent and known for sold-out shows across the world.
The funds raised will help those who face challenges with vision.
Melrose Arch Carols on the Piazza aims to give back to the community by raising funds for visually impaired persons.
The proceeds will be shared between two beneficiaries.
The first is the South African Guide Dogs Association, which breeds, trains and places guide and service dogs, empowering individuals with visual, physical, and developmental disabilities to lead more independent lives.
Guide dog owner, Cornelle Leach, who suffers from Stangardts Dystrophy requires a second surgery to restore her vision and she will also benefit from the funds raised.
Leach, a company employee in the precinct, has motivated South Africans with her perseverance and bravery in seeking to restore her sight through electro-stimulation therapy, which utilises innovative biotechnology.
Khanyi Moyo, marketing manager at Melrose Arch, spoke about the need to help those in need through this event.
“Carols on the Piazza is an event we look forward to hosting every year at Melrose Arch; not only because it is a wonderful gathering filled with beloved songs, joy and unity, but also because it enables us to help uplift those in need,” said Moyo.
Tickets are available through Computicket at R200 per person.
