Love is in the Air: Laerskool Suidheuwels’ fashion show

Laerskool Suidheuwels hosted a fun-filled school fashion show to celebrate Valentine's Day, promoting love and unity among learners.

Laerskool Suidheuwels in South Hills celebrated Valentine’s Day uniquely and excitingly – with a school fashion show.

The event saw learners from Grade R to Seven strutting their stuff on the catwalk, showcasing their stylish outfits.

Lazuko Mashalaba from Big Brother Mzansi was the guest speaker at the show and sought to spread love to the learners.

“I hope you guys have a day filled with love and joy. Thank you all for the support,” said Lazuko.

The theme of the event was Love is in the Air, and learners took it to heart, dressing up in their best red attire to celebrate the day.

Grade Seven teacher Kumari Jackson spoke about the need for celebrations in the school.

“These types of celebrations bring the school together. It teaches the children about love and unity and allows us all to have fun,” said Jackson

The fashion show was a wonderful way to promote love, unity, and self-expression among the learners.
