African Trading Group and Johannesburg Harriers support Place A Pup
The entities joined forces to make a pawsitive impact and stress the importance of caring for neglected animals.
The African Trading Group, which was founded 14 years ago, and the Johannesburg Harries Athletics Club supported the Place A Pup Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre through a charity run at the Thaba Eco Village – Lifestyle Centre.
This event was about more than just running; it was about making a difference. While we often focus on helping people, caring for the animals that rely on us is equally important. Place A Pup, a registered NPO since 2018, rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes abandoned, abused and neglected puppies.

Through this initiative, the organisations raised money and food for needy animals, ensuring they get the love and care they deserve, but the mission doesn’t stop here.
To those who want to make a difference, support this cause by donating via PlaceA Pup.

The African Trading Group in the heavy and mining industry delivers procurement, conveyors and maintenance, wear and tear protection, piping and on-site maintenance solutions.
The Johannesburg Harriers Athletics Club thanked those who participated and made the day unforgettable, highlighting that their support meant the world to these pups.
