Lumu Organisation transforms young lives through education and nutrition

The Lumu Community-Based Organisation Child and Youth Care Centre feeds and educates vulnerable children, giving them a chance at a brighter future.

The Lumu Community-Based Organisation Child and Youth Care Centre makes a meaningful impact on the lives of local children through its feeding scheme and Teach a Child initiative.

Its mission is to ensure that every child in their care has access to education and nutrition, empowering them to build a better future for themselves.

To date, Lumu has placed 30 children in Turffontein, Rosettenville and Mondeor schools. While some schools offer subsidies to support these children, not all are afforded this privilege.

Lumu aims to provide more children with the means to succeed, nurturing their natural talents and potential.

Samuel Robert, the Lumu CEO, wants to continue helping children fight poverty, “Children are vulnerable and need help and guidance. Lumu is a small organisation, but we are dedicated to helping kids change their lives,” he said.

By supporting Lumu, we can help create a brighter future for these young minds. To contribute, call 060 355 3588.
