Madiba’s legacy of hope, dignity and service continues

Every meal, every blanket, every act of kindness counts.

Ladismith Cheese partnered with PPT Social Run and the Hope SA Foundation on a drive to feed thousands of people on Mandela Day.

Among the areas visited was Moffat View, Johannesburg South, where they served warm meals, fresh bread, toys, clothing and kindness.

There was support from PPT Social Run, who provided more than 1 000 loaves of bread and spreads. Sandwiches were prepared with help from Ladismith Cheese, Touch Base Pro and Amrut Foundation, while meals were packed and prepped at the community kitchen at Thava Indian Restaurant.

Other stakeholders included Truth and Life Celebration Centre and KCC, Killarney Country Club.

Hope SA Foundation wants to thank everyone who participated. Every single person who donated, packed, cooked or cared made this day extra special.

Your support means hungry people got a meal. Forgotten families felt seen. Hope is kept alive.
