Paint & Sip Café brings colour and community to Alberton
Paint & Sip Café marks a colourful new chapter for Alberton, blending creativity, connection, and good vibes in one cosy space.
Paint & Sip Café opened in Alberton and has quickly become a lively new spot on the block. The opening drew a really good turnout, with locals showing strong support and excitement for this new creative space.
Throughout the day, visitors worked together on a community art project. Everyone who picked up a brush added their own touch, allowing creativity to flow freely.
The finished artwork was created as a shared effort and would become a permanent feature in the café, standing as a reminder of the sense of community felt on opening day. Many guests left feeling inspired and uplifted by the experience.
Paint & Sip Café was introduced as Alberton’s new cosy creative hub, blending a relaxed café atmosphere with guided art experiences. It offers a welcoming space where people of all ages and skill levels can feel comfortable exploring their creativity.
During the festive season, the café focused on themed experiences that encouraged people to swap screen time for brush time. Guests were invited to join Christmas Wreath Painting Classes and Watercolour Christmas Cards Classes, where they could create thoughtful, handmade keepsakes.
Friendly instructors guided each session step by step, making the classes suitable for complete beginners as well as more confident artists. Magical gingerbread house building sessions were also planned, giving families a chance to enjoy a fun and creative outing together.
All classes include art materials, a drink such as tea, coffee or juice, and a light snack. Guests only need to bring their curiosity.

People can attend on their own, with friends, or plan special occasions such as date nights, team socials, baby showers, bridal showers or birthday parties. Each event promises laughter, music and a finished artwork to take home.
Looking ahead, Paint & Sip Café shared plans to offer a wider range of art classes and special workshops in 2026, going beyond the Christmas-themed sessions available this year.
With limited seating and strong interest, classes fill quickly, especially during the holidays. The opening marked the start of a colourful new chapter for Alberton, where creativity, community and good vibes came together at Paint & Sip Café.
Paint & Sip Café is closed on Mondays and Sundays, and welcomes guests from 10:00 to 16:00 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. On Saturdays, the café opens from 10:00 to 14:00.
