Support a noble cause – get your flip flops out

CHOC's Flip Flop day returns, encouraging collective action for childhood cancer

The community is invited to participate in Flip Flop Day, a national fundraising and awareness campaign led by Childhood Cancer Foundation South Africa (CHOC), on February 20.

The campaign encourages individuals, schools, and workplaces to purchase a R10 Flip Flop Day sticker and wear flip flops in solidarity with families affected by childhood cancer.

Funds raised will support vital services, including safe accommodation, transport assistance, psychosocial support, and educational programs for children and adolescents undergoing treatment.

“No family should walk the childhood cancer journey alone,” says Hedley Lewis, CEO of CHOC.

To get involved:

• Purchase a sticker: Get your R10 Flip Flop Day sticker at CHOC or Tekkie Town nationwide

• Wear your flip flops: Show your support on February 20

• Spread awareness: Share photos, tag CHOC, and use #FlipFlopDay26

For more information, email flipflopday@choc.org.za or call 086 111 3500.
