Just a word of warning to parents of dancers – make sure your child is with an accredited dance school.
Too often children have danced for years at dancing schools that are not accredited and then not accepted into dance programmes, dance companies, dance schools, not accepted on the ships, don’t ever get accepted at auditions, don’t get placings at competitions etc, as they have been taught incorrectly. Then it is too late.
