Less street-light in Glenvista, more potential danger

"I really hope someone will take this issue seriously and fix these street lights soon – who knows what will happen otherwise!"

At Bellairs Drive in Glenvista, near Elstree Avenue and opposite Glenvista Checkers, two street lights have been out since the end of December. This is very worrying and dangerous.

While we were experiencing bad weather in December, these lights were struck down and have been out of working order since. After calling someone to come fix it, it functioned again, but only for one day before going out again. Back to square one!

It feels quite dangerous not having these lights working because it makes it easier for criminals not to be seen and trespass into nearby properties. It’s also dangerous for drivers who use the road and can’t see as well without the light.

I really hope someone will take this issue seriously and fix these street lights soon – who knows what will happen otherwise!
