Family thanks community for help in finding 91-year-old woman

On July 25 my mother (91) who lives in Lambton, Germiston, went missing after failing to arrive at her friend’s home for lunch in Bedfordview. My mom has recently begun to become forgetful.

Throughout the afternoon, many people out there were looking for her and her car, and, eventually, just before 5pm, she was found safely in Bedfordview. She had unknowingly been driving throughout Joburg South.

Thank you to every single one of you who shared it on social media, to CPFs who assisted in getting the word out, to SAPS and security companies, and to you all for your prayers.
